Community/Store/Event Marketing Manager
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities
Lead planning, negotiation, and execution of expo and event contracts to ensure alignment with brand goals and budget.
Manage all contract deliverables and partnership expectations with race organizations, vendors, and other external partners.
Coordinate logistics, timelines, and staffing plans for all expo activations, including booth layout, materials, and on-site experience.
Serve as the main point of contact for race directors, expo coordinators, and partner brands throughout the event lifecycle.
Oversee the design, setup, and breakdown of expo booths to ensure a polished, branded, and engaging presence.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, retail, inventory) to ensure all components of the expo are cohesive and timely.
Track performance and ROI of expo activations and provide post-event reports and recommendations.
Ensure all legal, insurance, and compliance requirements are met for each event or expo.
Identify opportunities to elevate Athletic Annex’s presence at expos through partnerships, promotions, and innovative engagement strategies.
Maintain a calendar of upcoming expos and related deadlines, ensuring no detail is overlooked in planning and preparation.
Community, Medical, and Corporate Partnerships
Build and manage relationships with key partners, including medical professionals, corporate wellness teams, community organizations, and event coordinators.
Oversee medical referral programs, ensuring strong relationships, consistent communication, and improved referral flow to stores.
Develop, negotiate, and manage corporate partnerships that increase brand visibility and drive in-store traffic.
Manage partnership agreements and ensure all commitments, timelines, and deliverables are fulfilled.
Collaborate with internal teams to activate partnerships through events, co-branded initiatives, and store-driven campaigns.
In-Store Events
Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events—including workshops, brand activations, clinics, and community gatherings—to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic.
Partner with vendors, medical professionals, and community groups to develop event programming aligned with brand goals.
Oversee event logistics such as scheduling, staffing, materials, promotions, and post-event follow-ups.
Track attendance, engagement, and impact to continuously improve in-store event strategy.
Race & Event Sponsorships
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate race and event sponsorship opportunities that align with brand strategy and maximize community impact.
Manage all sponsorship deliverables—including digital assets, on-site presence, marketing materials, and promotional requirements.
Coordinate internal and external teams to activate sponsorships effectively and consistently.
In-Store Signage & POP
Oversee the planning, production, and installation of in-store signage, POP, and promotional displays for both brand and product initiatives.
Collaborate with Marketing and Retail teams to ensure signage accurately reflects current promotions, events, and brand standards.
Maintain an organized workflow and calendar for seasonal refreshes, vendor requests, and store-specific needs.
